I started Sofu Studios back in December of 2024, using it as a way to share as well as archive all of my sewing projects. My posts started to gain traction and quickly Sofu became my own personal brand that I sold my pieces through to people around the globe. Currently the page has reached 20.8K followers, and my biggest video is currently sitting at around 878K views. It’s been the most amazing experience seeing so many people connect with what I love to make and I only have more ambitious plans for the brand in the future.
Since the beginning, I’ve been running every aspect of the brand, sewing all the pieces, building my website, filming and editing the videos, along with shipping and fufilling all of the orders. One of my favorite parts has been designing my own custom tags using screen prints that I burn myself.
These are some of my favorite projects I’ve done so far while making and posting my work online. I hope to grow even more proficient at sewing in the future and push myself to tackle even more creatively complex pieces.
